Für unser Team der Lernplattform Digital Sparks benötigen wir zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt Verstärkung bei der Konzeption und Erstellung von innovativen und digitalen Bildungsmaterialien und bei der Ansprache von interessierten Schulen und Institutionen. Digital Sparks sind digitale Workshops für Schüler*innen zu gesellschaftsrelevanten Themen wie Geschlechtsidentität, KI & Diskriminierung oder Zukunftsforschung. Our Digital Sparks learning platform team requires additional support in designing and creating innovative digital educational materials, as well as in reaching out to interested schools and institutions. Deine Hauptaufgaben sind

• Ansprache von Schulen, Lehrkräften, Multiplikatoren und Netzwerken
• Koordination und Kommunikation mit Schulen und Lehrkräften
• Konzeption von Lernmaterialien
• Erstellung und Recherche spannender, multimedialer Inhalte (Redaktion, Text, Video)
• Sprachliche Vermittlung komplexer Themen für Jugendliche
  

Your main tasks are

• Engaging schools, teachers, influencers, and networks
• Coordinating and communicating effectively with schools and teachers
• Designing learning materials for enhanced education
• Researching and creating captivating multimedia content (editing, text, video)
• Communicating complex topics in a language tailored for young audiences

Das solltest du mitbringen

• Die Motivation Bildung machtkritisch zu denken und die Perspektive marginalisierter Gruppen in das Zentrum deiner Arbeit zu stellen 
• Du hast mindestens 2 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Bildungsbereich (Elternzeit rechnen wir als Berufserfahrung ein)
  
• Du hast Freude an Organisation und Kommunikation und gestaltest gerne neue Strukturen mit
• Du willst Verantwortung übernehmen und kannst gut eigenverantwortlich arbeiten
• Du bist ein Organisations- und Kommunikationstalent
• Du hast Freude an der Kommunikation mit Lehrer*innen und Schüler*innen und sprichst gerne über das, was wir tun.
• Du hast idealerweise bereits Kontakte zu Schulen in Deutschland, im deutschsprachigen Raum oder Deutschen Schulen im Ausland
• Du hast eine Hands-on Mentalität und die Offenheit, Neues zu lernen
• Du bist motiviert dich im Education Innovation LAB als Teil des Teams einzubringen, Lust auf unternehmensinterne Skillshares und einen Prozess zu machtkritischem Arbeiten
• Deine Deutschkenntnisse sind auf mindestens C1 Level. Deine Englischkenntnisse sind auf mindestens B1 Level
• Du wohnst in Berlin und hast Lust mindestens einmal die Woche aus dem Berliner Büro zu arbeiten

What you should bring with you

• You have at least 2 years of professional experience in the education sector (we count parental leave as professional experience)
  
• Passion for critically reconsidering education and prioritizing the perspectives of marginalized groups
• Thrives in organizing and communicating, contributing to shaping innovative structures
• Takes initiative and excels in independent work, demonstrating accountability
• Exhibits strong organizational and communication skills
• Enjoys engaging with educators and students, enthusiastic about discussing our initiatives. 
• Prior connections with schools in Germany, German-speaking regions, or German schools abroad would be advantageous
• Embraces a hands-on approach and embraces continuous learning
• Eager to contribute to the Education Innovation LAB, participating in internal skill-sharing and fostering power-critical methodologies within the team
• Proficiency in German at least at a C1 level, and English at least at a B1 level
• Based in Berlin, willing to work from the Berlin office at least once a week

Über das Education Innovation LAB:
Das Education Innovation LAB ist ein gemeinnütziges Unternehmen (gUG), das sich für eine grundlegende Transformation unserer Bildungssysteme einsetzt. Dafür entwickeln und gestalten wir neue Unterrichtskonzepte, Lernmaterialien und Workshops zu Themen, die für unsere Zukunft wichtig sind. Zum Beispiel zu “Selbstbestimmung im Netz“, Grundeinkommen, Klima-Aktivismus oder Zukunftsforschung. Dabei arbeiten wir auch mit vielen anderen Akteur*innen aus dem Bildungsbereich zusammen. Wir tragen zur Vernetzung bei, machen Wissen und Erfahrungen allgemein zugänglich und unterstützen, begleiten und beraten rund ums Thema Bildungsinnovation.

Wir sind ein Team aus PoC und weißen, able bodied, trans* und cis Menschen, in verschiedenen Arbeitszeitmodellen. Bei uns arbeiten Menschen mit kleinen und großen Kindern. Uns ist eine Arbeitskultur wichtig, in der sich jede Person ihren Fähigkeiten und Wünschen entsprechend einbringen und weiterentwickeln kann. Dabei legen wir großen Wert auf einen antirassistischen und diskriminierungsarmem Raum, in dem wir von- und miteinander lernen können.

About Education Innovation LAB:
The Education Innovation LAB is a non-profit organization (gUG) dedicated to fundamentally transforming our education systems. To achieve this, we develop and create new teaching concepts, learning materials, and workshops on topics crucial for our future. For instance "Self-Determination Online", basic income, climate activism, or futurology. We collaborate with various stakeholders in the education sector. Our aim is to foster connections, make knowledge and experiences widely accessible, and provide support, guidance, and consultation on educational innovation topics.

We are a team of PoC and white, able bodied, trans* and cis people, in different working time models. We have people working with young and old children.
